St James brings a Christian ministry to the community of West Belconnen in the Australian Capital Territory. It is a Bible based church which seeks to help people find God’s love through faith in Jesus Christ. It is an active church where there is opportunity to worship together, meet in fellowship, find care and support, get to know each other and to be involved in the ministries of the church.
We believe that people can know God and be filled with his Spirit now, and can be sure of eternal life with Him. We believe that the Bible is God’s word to us and seek to help people discover these truths about God through studying it together.
St James is an Anglican Church in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. It has Wardens and a Parish Council who set policy and plan the life of the church with the ministry team. It also has a group of leaders who oversee the work of the various areas of ministry (Ministry Leaders).
