For Small Groups

Small Groups are a vital part of the life of our church.  They are an important means of providing fellowship and a sense of belonging and are a good way to get to know other members of the congregation more than superficially. They also help new people to get to know others.

As well as fellowship, small groups also provide pastoral care amongst their members. Other important activities in small groups are studying the Bible together and praying for each other.  Some groups also serve the church or the community in some way that they feel is appropriate.

There are currently 10 small groups operating at St James. Most groups meet for approximately 2 hours once a week and there are groups meeting from Monday to Thursday evenings inclusive.

If you would like to join a small group, or find out more about them, please contact us.
